Research Topics
For both unipolar and bipolar mood disorders research topics are:
- Neurobiology of mood disorders: multidisciplinary approaches including neuropsychology, neuroendocrinology, neuroimaging and genetics.
- Efficacy and effectiveness of innovative treatments for mood disorders: e.g. psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, occupational therapy, electroconvulsive therapy, deep brain stimulation.

Disease management of mood disorders: detection of mood disorders in primary care, collaboration between general and mental health care, between mental and occupational health care, different components of integrated mental health care programmes for mood disorders.
